P-tert-octyl phenolic tackifying resin PN-203

Introduction:

• Other Name: Resorcinol-Formaldehyde Resin, Tackifying Resin
• PENORL® PN-203 is Tert-Octyl phenolic tackifying resin.
• PENORL® PN-203 is same as SP-1068

Performance:

• PENORL® PN-203 is rubber tackifying resin, usually called 203 resin.
• PENORL® PN-203 is Tert-octyl phenolic tackifying resin.

Application:

• PENORL® PN-203 is tackifier for Natural Rubber (NR) and Synthetic Rubber (SR), specially for SBR, NBR and CR.
• PENORL® PN-203 mainly used for SR, such as sidewall and belt ply of tires.

Packing and Storage:

• It is packed in Kraft paper bags lined with plastic film, net weight is 25kg/bag.
• It should be stored in a cool, dry warehouse.
• The shelf life is 24 months.

Resorcinol-formaldehyde bonding resin PN-20

Introduction:

• Other Name: Resorcinol-Formaldehyde Resin, Bonding Resin
• PENORL® PN-20 is modified resorcinol formaldehyde resin.
• PENORL® PN-20 is same as B-20-S, A250
• CAS No.: 24969-11-7

Performance:

• As methylene acceptor adhesive, PENORL® PN-20 contains no free formaldehyde, and has low vapor pressure to reduce the volatile smog and loss of resorcinol when the processing temperature above 150℃.
• When PENORL® PN-20 react with methylene donor (such as rubber adhesive MF510, MF520, RA-65, HMMM), then generate thermosetting resin, which effectively promote the adhesion between rubber and steel cord or fabric cord.

Application:

• PENORL® PN-20 resin can be used as methylene acceptor adhesive to replace the resorcinol monomer.
• Suggested ratio: 2-5 phr PENORL® PN-20 resin can be used with 2-5 phr methylene donor (such as rubber adhesive MF510, MF520, HMMM, RA-65).

* Please be noted that PENORL® PN-20 resin doesn’t work without methylene donor.

Tall oil modified reinforcing resin PN-2521

Introduction:

• Other Name: Rubber reinforcing resin
• PENORL® PN-2521 is tall oil modified thermoplastic phenolic reinforcing resin.
• PENORL® PN-2521 is same as SP-6701

Performance:

• PENORL® PN-2521 is rubber reinforcing resin.
• PENORL® PN-2521 is tall oil modified thermoplastic phenolic reinforcing resin.

Application:

• PENORL® PN-2521 is reinforcing agent for NR and SR.
• PENORL® PN-2521 resin is used together with methylene donator as a high-efficiency reinforcing resin, it can improve the hardness, tear resistance, wear resistance, strength and constant elongation of the rubber material, and slightly reduce the elongation of the rubber material, prolong the burning time, and reduce the Mooney viscosity of the rubber material.
• To obtain the ideal reinforcing effect. Hexamethylenetetramine (HMT), which is about 8% relative to the content of PN-2521, should be added as methylene donor for cross-linking reaction.

Thermal reaction octyl phenolic curing resin PN-306

Introduction:

• Other Name: Rubber curing resin PN-306 usually called 306 resin
• PENORL® PN-306  is thermal reaction octyl phenolic vulcanized resin.
• PENORL® PN-306 is same as SP-1045

Performance:

• PENORL® PN-306 is rubber curing resin.
• PENORL® PN-306 is thermal reaction octyl phenolic vulcanized resin which contains methylol group.

Application:

• PENORL® PN-306 resin is curing agent for NR and several SR (as IIR, EPDM, NBR, CR).
• PENORL® PN-306 resin mainly used for Tire, Tire curing bladder, Conveyor belt, Sealing ring, gasket and other rubber products.
• Suggest ratio: 7-12phr PN-306 resin can be used in IIR, 1.5-2phr PN-306 resin can be used in EPDM.
